Track season begins for Oglesby ISD

On Monday, Feb. 26, student athletes of Oglesby Junior High competed in multiple track and field events.

In the girls’ division, Abigail Insall won fifth place in the 400-meter dash.

In the boys’ division, Kegan Redford won sixth place in the 100-meter dash, sixth place in the 200-meter dash, and second place in the 400-meter dash. Evan Williamson won first place in the 400-meter dash. Jayce Aaron won third place in the 800-meter dash, fourth place in the long jump, and fifth place in the triple jump. Couper Wulfkhule won third place in the 1600-meter dash. Holdyn Goff won second place in pole vault, second place in the 300-meter hurdles, and sixth place in the 110-meter hurdles. Mason Marquez won first place in shot putt and fifth place in discus.
