All throughout Easter weekend, Trinity Baptist Church presented its play - “Passion 2024: Thee Gift” - on Thursday, March 28, Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.
This will be a free event and will give the community of Gatesville the chance to experience a live action story of Jesus’ life, with the trial, crucifixion, and the resurrection.
The play consisted of 12 scenes and was told from the point of view of Grandfather John as he explained his experience with the last days of Jesus to his grandsons Elijah and Abel.
The event featured live performances, live actors, live animals, and live music as well as a walk through on the streets of Jerusalem.
