When the fine arts teacher at Gatesville Elementary, Christeena Herring, was having her dog groomed, the owner of the grooming shop, Val Questel, mentioned that she was looking for a logo for her business. “I had all of our students design a logo,” Herring said. The girls, pictured above, are the students she chose to be the "art team" to collaborate to design a logo for her. “Out of nearly 600 students, Hanna, Fiona and Ruby were the winners,” Herring said. They were each presented with a Visa gift card, and the art department received a generous donation as well.
