Oglesby Tiger basketball team honored with various awards

The Oglesby Independent School District’s boys basketball team, as well as Coach Williamson, were given a plethora of All-District awards this past week.

To be awarded with All-District is an honor in which students and coaches are given for working hard on the court and in the classroom.

The awards include:

Coach Larry Williamson, Coach of the Year.

Landon Williamson, District MVP.

Kyler Fossett, Defensive MVP.

Edward Aviles Jr., 1st team All-District.

Hunter Walter, 1st team All-District.

Alex Castillo, 2nd team All-District.

Johnny Gomez, All-District Honorable Mention.

Jack Hendricks, All-District Honorable Mention.
