The Oglesby Junior High Tiger A Team defeated the Abbott Panthers A Team by a score of 34 to 32.
The Tigers started out cold in the first quarter but came to life in the second quarter. Number 23, Holdyn Goff, was high point for the Tigers, scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds for a double/double, one steal, and one assist. Number 11, Evan Williamson, had 11 points, four rebounds, one assist, and one steal. Number 15, Caiden Brinkley, had two rebounds, one steal, and one assist. Number 13, Blayze Fisher, had one assist, one steal, and three rebounds. The Tigers remain undefeated at 3-0 and will host Vanguard on Monday, Dec. 11.
The Oglesby Tigers junior high boys’ basketball B team beat Abbott junior high boys B team by the score of 13 to 11 in Abbott Texas.
AJ Marfa was the top scorer for the Tigers with seven points, four rebounds, and one blocked shot. Brody Martinez had four points, two rebounds, and two steals, rounding out the scoring for the Tigers. Ashton Thompson dropped in two points, two rebounds, and one steal. The B team Tigers record is now 2-0.
