McPherson sisters competed in 4-H horse judging in Katy

Kinsley and Allie McPherson both competed in the Coryell County 4-H Horse Judging teams at the Houston contest this past Monday in Katy.

Kinsley was on the Livestock Quiz Bowl team that competed at Houston last Friday.

David and Pam Hopson had lunch with Tammy Roe, of Nemo, Bill and Heather Menn, of Yorktown, and Mrs. Beth Haines at a local restaurant in Gatesville to celebrate Beth’s birthday.

Mrs. Beth Haines spent Friday night in Nemo with her daughters, Tammy Roe and Patti Thompson, of Longview.  They all went shopping in Granbury at the Marketplace Saturday morning to celebrate their mother, Beth Haines’ birthday.

Tammy Roe of Nemo and her granddaughter, Brooklyn, of Lewisville, visited in Gatesville with Beth Haines and in Mound with David and Pam Hopson.

Emma Blakley came home Friday from College Station for spring break.

Robert and Emma Blakley went fishing at Lake Limestone Saturday.

Jerry and Brenda Helms and Carolyn Blakley went to Waco for shopping and dinner.

Sunday was Jerry’s birthday, and Brenda Helms and Carolyn Blakley took him for a birthday lunch at Walburg.

Several Ladies from Mound Cowboy Church and White Mound Baptist Church went to a lady’s retreat at Tri-Rivers Retreat for the weekend.  This year’s theme was “CHOSEN.’’

Several grandparents from Mound attended the 2024 Grandparents Day last week at Trinity Preschool in Gatesville.

Several people of Mound attended the 2024 annual Cardem International Circus at the Extraco Events Center in Waco over the weekend.

Jeb Dixon and his daughters, Julia, Brooke, and Reese Dixon, of Liberty Hill, visited last Sunday with their relatives in Gatesville and Mound.
