JHS Eagles baseball team bats up against Oglesby

This past week, the baseball team at Jonesboro Independent School District went up against Oglesby ISD.

The Eagles fell 7-14 to Oglesby.

“We got ahead early, let a one run lead slip away, and gave up seven runs in the fifth inning to go down 14-2,” Pierce said.

The Eagles battled back and scored five runs in the bottom of the sixth to keep from getting 10 runs ruled.

“Just couldn’t get anything going in the seventh,” Pierce said.
