First Methodist Church plans events leading up to Easter

The First Methodist Church of Gatesville is planning events leading up to Easter.

The choir, originally scheduled to present the musical cantata “Ransomed & Redeemed” on Sunday, April 2, announced that the cantata will have to be rescheduled at a later date.

Maundy Thursday will be celebrated at the church on April 6 at 6:30 p.m. Good Friday will be celebrated on April 7 at 6:30 p.m.

The church will also host a community-wide Easter egg hunt from 9:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 8.
