National Night Out 2023 to be held Oct. 3

The Gatesville Police Department recently announced that National Night Out will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Sports Complex from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

National Night Out is designed to heighten drug and crime awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partners, and send a message to criminals letting them know neighborhoods are organized and fighting back. 

This event will be fun for all ages. There will be free food, vehicle and aircraft displays, safety demonstrations, educational materials, fun games, music, local city/ county information, free giveaways, and a chance to visit with your local first responders. Don’t forget to bring your lawn chairs.
