Team Gatesville, Special Olympics Texas, attended the Tim Tebow Foundation’s “Night to Shine” prom on Feb 10. The prom was held at Crestview Church of Christ in Waco, and in person for the first time since 2020. Night to Shine is a worldwide prom for people with special needs.
Crestview Church of Christ partnered with the Tim Tebow Foundation with help from Elite Therapy Group and HOCTIL (Heart of Central Texas Independent Living) to host the event, which was an unforgettable prom night experience, centered on God’s love, for people with special needs and disabilities who are 14 and older. Each guest received a crown or tiara because they are all kings and queens.
The event was held simultaneously around the world. Night to Shine has become a worldwide movement benefitting and celebrating people with special needs.
