Ty Gallaway filled the pulpit on Sunday, Oct. 29, at the Mound Cowboy Church in the absence of Rev. Bruce Cox.

Mr. Edward Wolff, of Gatesville, filled the pulpit on Sunday, Oct. 29 at the White Mound Baptist Church in the absence of Rev. Bruce Cox.

Marti Wingate, Louise Kirchner, and John Stephens went on Wednesday evening to Waco to watch a movie.

Emma Blakley, of College Station, came home and spent some time with her parents, Robert and Carolyn Blakley. Saturday night, they all went to the Wild Game Dinner at the Texas Station in Gatesville.

Bobby and Nelda Carothers attended the Texas Rangers Baseball World Series games one and two at Globe Life Field in Arlington. Games were split 1-1. Now, the Rangers travel to Arizona to play games three, four, and five on Oct. 30, Monday, Oct 31, Tuesday, and Nov 1, Wednesday to win the 2023 World Series...just in case they don’t clench the series in five, they move back to Arlington for games six and seven, Friday and Saturday, Nov. 3 and 4.  Go Rangers!

Several people of Mound attended the Fall and Halloween festivities held at Coryell County churches.

Several people of Mound attended the annual Gatesville Boozaar Saturday evening on the Coryell County Courthouse Square. (The Boozaar is the community annual Halloween party).
