Several people from Mound attended the 2022 Big Sting in Gatesville.

Supporting those in Gatesville fighting cancer and honoring Hillside Rehab patients, Mrs. Nancy Dixon, and Gatesville Hornet football player No. 66, Chase Lee, who recently had his grandfather at Hillside for Rehab. As well as a friend of the Hopson family, Mr. Ricky Dunn, represented by Addi Wolff. 

Miss Allie McPherson was honored on her 12th birthday Saturday evening with a game of bowling in Waco with her father, Mark McPherson, and cousins, Ruby, Truett, and Jacklyn Pullen.  

Rev. Steve Sands filled the pulpit Sunday morning at White Mound Baptist Church in the absence of Rev. Bruce Cox. 

Kathi and Nick Taylor spent time in Dallas visiting with some of their friends. 

Samuel Shepherd of Georgetown spent the weekend with Staci Kinnear and family. Emma Blakely of College Station spent the weekend with her parents, Robert and Carolyn Blakely and other relatives. 

Cody, Jennifer, and Claira Cochran of Anson spent several days last week with Don and Sue Jones. While here Cody preached at the Mound Cowboy Church Revival. 

Bruce and Suzy Cox, Robert Fowler, Cody, Jennifer and Claira Cochran, Kelby and Sterlin Schults and Kristen Jones were last Sunday lunch guests of Don and Sue Jones. 

Mike Weaver of Harper preached Sunday at Mound Baptist Church. After the church service Don and Sue Jones, Mike Weaver, and Larry Johnson had lunch in Gatesville. 

Frank and Susie Hopson were weekend visitors in Fort Worth at the home of Kyle, Summer, Lillian, and Max McClellan. 

While there they attending the Lamb Creek Fall-O-Ween block party with their grandkids, co-hosted by Kyle and Summer McClellan. More than 120 kids and parents enjoyed fun, games, pizza, and being soaked by a glow in the dark foam machine.
