Mound Cowboy Church and White Mound Baptist Church had a fish fry for a Pastor Appreciation Luncheon Sunday for Rev. Bruce and Suzy Cox.

Mrs. Neva Ann Hopson Groat of Concord, California, Gloria Shaffer of Clayton, California, Celeste Polensky of Beaverton, Oregon, Hal and Martha Hopson and Maria Aggen of Cedar Park, visited in Mound over the weekend with the Hopson family.

Jacy Toole was baptized Sunday, Oct. 30, after the worship service at White Mound Baptist Church.

Lillie Mann and Eve Fulton lead the music for the Sunday worship service in the absence of Robert Fowler.

Ray and John Stephens spent Thursday night in Pearland with Donald Scott Stephens and family.

Several people of Mound attended the 21st annual Halloween Boozaar on Saturday evening in Gatesville.

Several of the Coryell Baptist Churches and the Presbyterian Church in Gatesville had their annual Trunk or Treat Saturday evening.

Lillie and Matti Mann showed Saturday in Clifton at the Crawford FFA show. Lillie won Intermediate Showmanship. Matti won Champion on her Duroc.

Saturday night we celebrated Lillie’s 13th birthday party at the Junction.

Brodie Fisher was recognized Friday evening at the Oglesby football game against Calvert. Brodie is a senior this year, and it was his last game at the Oglesby school field.

Cora and Caymbri Fisher spent time Saturday with their Mimi, Debbie Piller.
