Mound News Barbara Hopson
John Paul Stephens and his children, Jonathan and Christina, participated in the Muay Thai, Texas State Championship event in Dallas. John Paul won second in the senior division, and Christina won first place in the 10-13 age group for the gold medal. Jonathan won fourth place in the fightin’ division, in the youngest age group.
Kathi Taylor attended a coworker’s wedding Saturday in Temple and had lunch in Gatesville Sunday with her mother, Mrs. Sue Magee.
Mrs. Glenda Dunn, of Clifton, visited Friday with Loyd, Kari, and Katie Hopson. They all attended the Gatesville Hornets game and watched Katie cheer.
On Saturday, Lindsey and Laura Pinner, Bailey Petzold, Kennedie Hyde, Kari and Katie Hopson enjoyed a fun-filled Saturday afternoon. The group had lunch and did some arts and crafts afterward.
