Kassie Withrow's class takes the idea of preparing for the real world to the next level. On any given day, you will find them working off-site, volunteering for local and Waco-based organizations, preparing meals, doing laundry, and tackling paperwork.

“They are not only learning to make great coffee (this is a VERY IMPORTANT life skill), but also recently learned how to juggle the demands of work and keeping your life together, with the added pressure of an approaching holiday and additional projects,” says Gatesville High School principal Liz Shoaf. “The team decided they would showcase their artistic and crafty side at Christmas on Marshall Street, and I am excited to say, they knocked it out of the park.”
