Gatesville Junior High School has recently announced the opening of a care closet for all junior high students. The junior high will open the care closet on Thursday, August 10 which will offer various items including clothing, personal, and hygiene products.
Donations for the care closet began on Monday, July 10 and will continue throughout the school year, as this will be a year-round service. Applications to donate can be found in the GJH front office.
Donations can be made in cash and will be applied towards purchasing items or donations of new or gently used bags can be made and will be used to pack items. Donations of gently used clothing items such as shirts, sweatpants, joggers, underwear, socks, pajamas, or belts, and hygiene products including toothpaste, toothbrushes, deodorant, body wash, skin care, Q-tips, pads, and tampons can also be made. All clothing sizes must be for boys and girls of the ages 12 to 15 years old.
Be sure to drop off donations at GJH located at 307 S. Lovers Ln.
