Gatesville High School senior recently honored

Gatesville High School senior Barrett Boys was recently honored on National Signing Day, which is celebrated across the country.

She was recognized for her commitment and track scholarship to the United States Airforce Academy. Boyd is a multi-sport athlete, who holds the Gatesville High School record for pole vault and the 100-meter hurdles.

This past spring, she finished fifth in the pole vault at the University Interscholastic League (UIL) Class 4A state meet.
