Gatesville High School Athletics Hall of Fame nominations now open

Nominations are now being taken for the Gatesville High School Athletics Hall of Fame for the class of 2024.

The hall of fame recognizes:

• Athletes that excelled at Gatesville High School and received significant recognition.
• Coaches with significant achievements during their career at Gatesville High School.
• Teams that won state championships, advanced to state-level competition, or attained other significant playoff/postseason achievements.
• Friends of the program that contributed extraordinarily to Gatesville ISD athletics in a capacity other than a coach or athlete.

To receive a nomination form, contact Ricky Phillips by email at rgphilli@gatesvilleisd.org. All nominations are due by Friday, Feb. 9 and are to be turned in by email to Ricky Phillips or mailed to Rickey Phillips, GISD Athletic Director, 215 South Lovers Lane, Gatesville TX 76528.

Inductees will be announced the week of Feb. 12 through 16, and the induction banquet will be held next fall.
