History was made Wednesday this week, once again, by the Gatesville Fightin’ Hornet Band as they took the field at their state competition in San Antonio. This past year, the band scored 18th in the state, which was the highest in Gatesville High School history. As of this year, the band, Color Guard, Dazzlers, and directors received the announcement that they were ranked 12th in the state.
