Clay – Moore vows exchanged

Chapel Dulcinea in Austin was the setting for the Oct. 17 wedding of Emmanuelle (Emmy) Grace Clay and Benjamin (Ben) Kyle Moore, both of Stephenville.

Edward Leach, the bride’s grandfather, officiated at the double-ring ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Drs. Britt and Jill Clay, of Gatesville, and the granddaughter of Edward and Crystal Leach, of Gatesville, Charlene Graham of Rusk, the late Jimmy Graham, the late Jacque Clay, and the late Charlotte Leach.

The bridegroom is the son of Michael and Shannon Moore of Hideaway, Texas, and the grandson of Brenda Walsh of Lindale, Tom and Kathy Walsh of Acworth, GA, Larry Michael Moore of Arlington, and Anitha Smith of Trinidad.

The bride was given in marriage by her father.

Sister of the bride, Bailey Holder, served as the Matron of Honor, and William Moore, brother of the groom, served as the Best Man. The father of the groom, Michael Moore, served as the ring bearer.

Cellist, Arlyn Kantz, provided the music including Ode to Joy, The Swan, Marie’s Wedding, Fairest Lord Jesus, and Can’t Help Falling in Love.

A wedding luncheon followed the service at Fresa’s, a restaurant in Austin. The bride’s grandmother, Crystal Leach, created the bride and groom’s cakes.

The bride is a 2017 graduate of Gatesville High School. In 2021, she received her BS degree in Public Health and, in 2022, her MA degree in Management from Tarleton State University. She is currently employed as a Project Specialist at Erath Engaged.

The groom is a 2018 graduate of Rockwall High School, and in 2023 received a BBA degree in Management from Tarleton State University. He is currently working in management at Sherwin Williams.

Following a wedding trip to Seaside, Florida, the couple now reside in Stephenville.
