“Celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior”

Posted

Merry Christmas, y’all! Pearl wishes everyone a safe, blessed, healthy, and happy time celebrating the birth of our Lord and Savior with family and friends. This Pearl News purveyor surely prays for all the dear ones in Pearl and the surrounding communities each and every day. Miles may separate us (along with a few million pine trees), but you are never, ever forgotten. I am so blessed to call Pearl my home no matter where I may be. These words of Christ our Lord I especially share with you, so that you will know how much He cares for all of us: “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27

The next Pearl Community Center quarterly board meeting will be Jan. 22, at 6:30 p.m., at the Community Center. The public is invited to attend.

There are several people in the Pearl area in need of prayer due to illness right now. Please just pray for the health of our Pearl people. The Lord knows who they are, and there’s power in prayer.

This week’s Bible verse comes from Matthew 1: 20b-21—"Joseph, son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save His people from their sins.” NIV, I hope we all can share the Good News of the Gospel with someone this Christmas. A life changing, everlasting gift for certain.

Please pray for continued blessings of rain, for our veterans and service men and women, our country, our schools, and Israel.
