Ambassadors lead youth through MJ Hanna Ranch

Posted

On Thursday, March 14, elementary youth of the Boys & Girls Club of Gatesville were hosted by 4-H Ambassadors at the MJ Hanna Ranch.

The students were hosted at the ranch for Natural Resources Day Camp.

Youth spent the day identifying tracks, scat, and other signed that are left by wildlife and domestic livestock, as well as learning how to collect and press plants. Each student was able to make their own plant collections to take home.

The Ambassadors were led by Becky Coward, Coryell County 4-H Extension Agent.

The MJ Hanna Foundation is a private foundation that primarily gives funds to provide services to families in need of further education and agricultural programs for youth.
