The girls tip off 6 p.m. Tuesday at Brookesmith. The girls dropped a 39-18 decision to St. Andrews on Tuesday. Emma Martin led the team with 10 of the team’s 18 points. The team has one senior in Myers, one sophomore in Jaz De Los Santos and six freshmen.

Team defense

Little River Academy had nine players score in the game while the Hornets put seven in the scoring column. The Hornets had seven 3-pointers while Little River Academy had 13 makes from long range. The Hornets have a 48-43 loss to Salado and an 85-38 win to go with the loss to Little River Academy.

Lewis scored 12 of his points in the first quarter on five of eight shooting. Lewis has been effective handling the point guard duties during the early part of the season.
