Juneteenth March for equality

Juneteenth March for equality

Calvin Ford, right, and others carrying signs for racial equality walk toward the Courthouse Square on Friday during a Juneteenth peaceful protest march. The group gathered in the parking lot at the First Baptist Church and then peacefully marched on the sidewalk down Main Street to the north side of the courthouse. Marchers carried signs with messages saying “Black Lives Matter,” “All Lives Matter” and “Unity in the Community.” Once at the courthouse, they made one lap around the Courthouse Square before a brief ceremony.
