Mound Cowboy Church and White Mound Baptist Church enjoyed “Riding with Jesus” VBS last week with 57 kids enrolled. The VBS was dedicated to Cheryl Ford who was always so much help in VBS. She was truly missed.Carolyn and Emma Blakley helped with the Mound VBS this past week.

DEMO day

As in the song about Jericho, “and the walls came tumbling down…” Following the devastating fire on the historic courthouse square three months ago, demolition on the remaining structures began in the early morning hours of Tuesday, June 16.

Museum Spotlight

Visitors to the Coryell Museum and Historical Center should take the time to explore the second floor of the museum. Upstairs, visitors will find an arrowhead exhibit, fossil exhibit, a chuckwagon, a loom, and many other treasures.
