Hornet Legends

Two former Gatesville ISD educators were honored during the Hornet Legend Spotlight at the Monday, June 22, GISD School board meeting. The first teacher to be recognized was Elton Ramthun.

Museum Spotlight

In the school room display at the Coryell Museum and Historical Center, visitors will see at least fifty photographs of rural schools that were once located in Coryell County.One of the many photographs on display is of the Turnersville School in the northern part of Coryell County.

CTC receives $750,000 grant to expand prison education

Central Texas College (CTC) has been awarded a $750,000 grant from the Trellis Foundation to expand educational opportunities for incarcerated students through its Gatesville site.
