The Evant Volunteer Fire Department had volunteer firefighters travel to Evant Independent School District to give demonstrations on fire safety, utilizing the water hose, and using the fire truck itself. Each of the students got a fire hat to take home and got to take turns using the fire hose with the help of a volunteer.
