Don’t Mess with Texas recently promoted a “Trash Off” event. Keep Gatesville Beautiful encouraged families, businesses and groups to take part in the statewide campaign by picking a date and location to conduct a litter pick-up.
Keep Gatesville Beautiful provided cleanup kits with supplies such as trash bags, gloves and litter grabbers and asked participants to report back on their efforts. Approximately 85 people participated, cleaning up more than 35 miles of public roadways and collecting an estimated 850 pounds of litter.
