With Good Friday and Easter to soon be in our presence, Trinity Baptist Church will host Passion 2024: Thee Gift on Thursday, March 28, Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.
Passion 2024: Thee Gift is a free event and will give the community of Gatesville the chance to experience a live action story of Jesus’ life, with the trial, the crucifixion, and the resurrection.
The event will feature live performances, live actors, live animals, and live music as well as a walk through on the streets of Jerusalem.
Jerusalem will open at 6 p.m. for the community to view and will be located behind the sanctuary of the church in a large tent.
The tent will be able to hold anywhere from 700 to 800 people.
The office secretary of Trinity Baptist Church, Dena Bell, said, “We are just so excited to highlight this significant event in history.”
The play will begin at 7 p.m. each evening where the story of Jesus’ last week will be told.
