Storybook Pumpkin Contest

The Gatesville Public Library will be hosting their fourth annual Storybook Pumpkin Contest.

Age categories for judging will be pre-K through first grade, second and third grade, fourth through sixth grade, seventh grade through adult. There will be prizes for first, second and third place in each category. 

The rules are: 

• One entry per person. 
• No entry shall exceed 24 inches tall or three pounds. 
• All entries must be based off a book character. 
• Art supplies that are permitted: paint, yarn, clay, wigs, glitter, etc. 
• Absolutely NO carved pumpkins. 
• On an index card have the following: name, age, phone number, and the title of the book that is being used. 

Entries may be submitted Oct. 19-26 at the Gatesville Public Library. The winners will be on display during Boozaar.
