Don’t Forget that April 21 and 22 are the dates for the Pearl Community Center Flea Market. Also, the Pearl Cottage Bookstore and Resale Shop will have a big indoor/outdoor sale. Items we will have include a quilt rack with quilt tops, quilts, two dining room tables, coffee tables, end tables, boxes of Amish Christian books, and a lot of exceptional glassware and jewelry. Also, two trailers of furniture and other household items — take what you want, pay what you want. The trailers will be parked in front of the cabin.
Additionally, the following items will be available inside the bookstore:
*8 pair of women’s crop pants, white, size 28W;
*9 pair of men’s Columbia shorts, size 40W;
*2 men’s sweaters, 1 gray, 1 blue, from Nordstrom’s;
*1 Men’s dress suit, Hart, Schaffner, and Marx from Dillard’s, blue, size 44 short;
*1 Tan men’s dress suit, Hart, Schaffner, and Marx from Dillard’s, size 44 short;
*1 Dark blue men’s dress suit, Hart, Schaffner, and Marx from Nordstrom’s, size 44 short;
*1 Men’s brown tweed sports jacket, American International Sports, Dillard’s, size 44;
*2 sacks of very nice men’s and women’s socks;
*A Singer sewing machine in a wooden case;
*A very old Singer sewing machine in a black case, in pristine condition;
*2 full-size beds with mattresses (both have headboards);
*A mixer;
*A waffle maker

Just two weeks after the flea market, the next Pearl Cottage Bookstore Day happens on May 6. That’s twice in two weeks that you can go to the book cottage to stock up on summer reading material. And, you can visit with the cheerful bookstore ladies who not only love to see you, but they also cherish your visits. Remember, you never know what you might find at the Pearl Book Cottage. All proceeds go to support the Bookstore’s local charities.
Pearl Church of Christ has announced its annual Vacation Bible School dates — May 29 through June 2, 9 a.m. until noon. Please share this information with all your friends and family. Everyone is welcome!
