We started school this past week. Brodie Fisher is a senior, Blayze is in seventh grade, Slayton is in fourth grade, and Caymbri is in second grade at the Oglesby School.

Brodie Fisher had a football scrimmage against Gholson Friday night. Those attending were Neal, Amanda, Slayton, Blayze and Cora Fisher.

Caymbri Fisher spent Friday night with Debbie Piller.

Debbie Keeton attended the 50th wedding anniversary celebration of Butch and Pat Whaley Saturday afternoon.

Ruby Caroline Pullen, of Rockwall, great-niece of Barbara Hopson, competed at the BBR Summer Shootout Barrel Race in Oklahoma City last weekend. Ruby had two amazing runs but did not make the short go. Ruby rode her horse, Stella.

Emma Blakley moved back to College Station on Sunday. She is starting her junior year at Texas A&M.

John Stephens met her sister, Karen Lee, for lunch Thursday in Gatesville.

Eric McCorkle has returned home from the Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple Wednesday afternoon after having hip surgery. Eric is doing some better at this time.

Jannetta Spencer has returned home from the Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Fort Worth from having nose surgery. Jannetta is doing some better at this time.

Doris Hoff of Gatesville visited one day during the week with Martha Lawhorn.

Josephine Pollard, Barbara Herndon, Paula Webster, Pam Duncan and Martha Lawhorn went to dinner Friday evening in Salado.
