Miss Olivia Lois Long was honored on her fifth birthday with a party in Gatesville at the Hillside Medical Lodge. The party was given by her parents and sister, Zach, Amanda and Aubree Long. Those attending were family and friends.
Martha Lawhorn and her grandson, Benjamin Phillips, went to a cattle sale in Groesbeck Saturday.
Kathi Taylor and her mother, Mrs. Sue Magee, attended the Pecan Grove Baptist Church for the church’s 140th Anniversary celebration Sunday.
Frank and Susie Hopson were weekend visitors in Roanoke. They were guests of McKenzie and Zack David. They were treated to an Old West biscuits and gravy breakfast at Lonesome Dove.
Ray and John Stephens spent the weekend in Chandler with Ray Stephens’s sister and her husband Rayland and Shirley Hamilton.
Valerie Terrell and Carolyn Blakley had lunch in Gatesville Thursday.
Carolyn Blakley attended the Heart of Texas BBQ Cookout Saturday in Waco.
