Kyle and Holly Pullen took their daughter, Ruby Caroline, to South Jordan, Utah to attend the Ruby Buckle Barrel Race while the Pullen twins, Truett and Jacklyn, spent a week in Mound with David and Pam Hopson and visited with other relatives and cousins. Ruby met her Aunt Sara Jo Poynter in Waco and met her sisters. Ruby, Truett and Jacklyn spent another week to attend (VBS) at White Mound Baptist Church while here.

Mr. Thomas Allen Belt attended District 8 County 4H Camp in Palestine, July 7 thru 9 representing Coryell County 4H. Thirteen attended from our County. At Camp they played water games, attended fun workshops, swam, danced, and had a great time. Any 4H member is welcome to attend. Next year’s camp will be July 5-7, 2024.

Chad and Sara Poynter went to Colorado last week with some friends. While there they enjoyed white water rafting, seeing the wildlife, and went to an amusement park that was at the very top of the mountains. It was a breath of fresh air to have some cooler temps.

Chris and Jennifer Miller took Caymbri and Slayton Fisher to Thackersville, Oklahoma. They enjoyed two days in the sun and pool.

Delecia Reynolds had lunch in Gatesville with her children and grandchildren Ronilyn Rogers, Alex, Erica, Travis, Noah, and Grace on the 4th of July.

 Mrs. Beth Haines of Gatesville and Pam Hopson visited Saturday afternoon in Nemo with Tammy Roe.

Danijo Wood spent the day Tuesday in Gatesville with Cecil and Morgan Woodson. They all attended the 4th of July fireworks show at McKamie Stadium.

Mrs. Pam Hopson was honored with a birthday picnic and pool party last Thursday. It was given by her children and grandchildren at the home of David and Pam Hopson.

Christine and Rebekah Stephens of Flower Mound spent last week with their grandparents, Ray and John Stephens.

Martha Lawhorn visited one day last week in Gatesville with Doris Hoff.

Scott, Kelby and Sterlin Shults, Case and Kristen Jones gave Don and Sue Jones a surprise 50th wedding anniversary Saturday at Mound Cowboy Church.

Jennifer and Claira Cochran of Anson spent several days with the Jones and Shults family.

Neil Helms of Red Oak spent the weekend with Robert and Carolyn Blakley.

Valerie Ferrell and Carolyn Blakley had lunch Tuesday and Friday in Gatesville.
