On Saturday, March 2nd, the Gatesville High School UIL One Act Play team participated in the District 23-4A UIL One Act Play Contest at the China Spring ISD Performing Arts Center in China Spring with their interpretation of the Tennessee Williams classic “The Glass Menagerie.”
The following students were recognized for their stellar work in the following categories:
Outstanding Technician’s Award: Issabella “Zayne” Cerecerez.
Honorable Mention All Star Cast Award: Dana Myers.
All Star Cast Award: Eason Johnson.
These students, along with their entire cast and crew, would like to invite the community to attend a final public performance of their show on Saturday, March 23rd, at the GHS Auditorium. Doors will open at 3 p.m., with the show starting at 3:30 p.m. Admission to the show will be $3 for students with an ID, military personnel, and senior citizens. All other attendees’ tickets will be $5, with children 5 and under attending for free.
