The Gatesville High School girls’ powerlifting team has been honored with 11 lifters qualifying for the upcoming Texas High School Women’s Powerlifting Association (THSWPA) regional meet.
The regional qualifiers include Zoey Arnold, Emma Davidson, Kensley Eary, Kasey Fitzer, Isabela Mondragon, Bayelyn Roberts, Alyssa Saxon, Marin Segraves, Shaylie Teague, Keyana Webb, and Paisley Wells.
The lifters that finish first or second in their respective weight class, or that reach a pre-set lift total, will advance to the state competition.
The regional meet will be held on Friday, March 1 in Dublin.
