Final Eclipse Town Hall Meetings Scheduled

Two town hall meetings related to the solar eclipse are scheduled for Monday, March 25^th. The first meeting, at 2 p.m., is specifically designed for local businesses. Topics will be specific to how the anticipated visitors may impact businesses and what they can do to prepare. Content will include lessons learned from communities that were in the path of totality in 2017 and details about the City of Gatesville’s plans. There will be a time for open discussion.

The second meeting, at 5:30 p.m., will be more general in nature and will be directed to residents. Details about public safety and traffic control plans, community events, and tips for individuals will be presented.

Both meetings will be held in the Gatesville City Council Chambers at 110 N. 8^th Street. For those unable to attend, the meetings will be live streamed on Facebook on the Gatesville, TX “Eclipseville” 2024 page.
