Cindy Elaine Gordon, age 66, of Purmela, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, Aug. 15, 2022. Funeral services were held Tuesday at her home in Purmela. Pastor Wray Nunn, a longtime family friend, officiated her service. Food and fellowship were provided at the Pearl Community Center in Pearl by some of her Evant kiddos Nolan Sanders, Clayton and Stephanie Landua and Ashley Erwin.
Cindy Elaine Gordon was born October 23, 1955, in Houston to the late Bobby Fears and Annie Pearson. She loved plants and working in her yard. Her heart was pure and full of love. She loved watching football with her kids and grandkids and cheering for their teams. Where they were, you could surely find her. Her children and their families were the loves of her life. She never lost her faith in God, but she was ready to go and meet Jesus.
She is survived by her five children, Amy Paul and husband, Jason, Caroline Paxton and boyfriend, Shawn, Travis Cox, Daniel Cox and girlfriend, Gracie Cantwell, and Andrew Gordon Jr. and wife, Ashley. Also surviving are 19 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Gaylen Henson, Katy Henline and husband, Robert, Tammy Strickland, Jason Lee, Bobby Fears Jr. and wife, Sandy, Debbie Clayburg and husband, Kenny, Becky Reynolds, and Richard Reynolds. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, her Aunt Neeter Lum, several others she called her own and many dear friends. She will surely be missed by many.
