Coryell Health responds to Coronavirus concerns

To help reduce the spread of the COVID-19 novel Coronavirus and similar respiratory illnesses, Coryell Health is expanding its existing patient concierge services by screening patients and family members for potential risk factors of COVID-19 at the front door of each of their facilities. Patients that are at risk will be offered further evaluation in a drive-through setting that also maximizes protection of patients and Coryell staff. Patients with acute needs will be referred to the emergency department. Clinic hours have not changed and patients are encouraged to continue arriving for appointments as previously scheduled.

Schools remain closed

After closely monitoring the COVID-19, Gatesville ISD made the decision last week to close all Gatesville campuses from March 16 to March 20 due to the confirmed case of COVID-19 which was diagnosed in a employee at a local Gatesville business who currently resides in Bell County.

National Census begins

Households locally and across the nation are encouraged to participate in the 2020 Census. Ensuring an accurate accounting of the population impacts funding, representation, business development and services within a community.
