Fourth of July festivities continue

The city of Gatesville is planning a massive celebration for the country’s 250th birthday. Weekend activities begin with a Military Appreciation Luncheon Saturday, July 4, at the Gatesville American Legion’s 214 Watts Lane location from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A recent high school graduate was recognized during the Monday, June 22, GISD school board meeting for receiving a prestigious honor from the Texas University Interscholastic League (UIL).
