Gatesville ISD offers “Stinger Stash” Resource Room

During the summer of 2024, Gatesville Independent School District created a “Resource Room,” or what it is now called the “Stinger Stash,” to benefit students and faculty and covers all five campuses.

Record attendance at Pearl Bluegrass on July 4

Even with the unbearable heat, hordes of Bluegrass music enthusiasts made the journey to the small community of Pearl in southwestern Coryell County to celebrate the fourth of July at the Pearl Community Center.

KGB names the July Yard of the Month

Keep Gatesville Beautiful has chosen the “Redemption Prayer Garden” of Coryell Community Church, 115 North Levita Road, for July Yard of the Month. This beautiful garden was the vision of Walter Davidson, who founded the church and served as its first pastor.

Camp Hood remembered

In honor of America’s 250th birthday, the public needs to be encouraged to come by and see all of the historical memorabilia on display in the military exhibit at the Coryell Museum and Historical Center. Without the military, our country would not have lasted 250 years.
