Veterans Day closings will occur on Friday, Nov. 11 to honor our veterans. The closings will include the following:
GOVERNMENT
The City of Gatesville will be closed. The City of Oglesby and the City of Evant will be closed. The Coryell County Courthouse will be closed, and the Farm Service Agency will be closed.
SCHOOLS
Gatesville ISD schools will hold classes and the administration office will be open. Jonesboro, Oglesby and Evant schools will remain open. The Boys and Girls Club will remain open on Nov. 11 and operate under their normal hours.
FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS
Extraco Bank, Cadence Bank, Educator’s Credit Union and the First National Banks of Gatesville, Evant, and Oglesby will all be closed.
POST OFFICES
All local post offices will be closed on Friday in the surrounding area. Box service will not be provided on that day.
LIBRARY
The Gatesville Public Library will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11.
SENIOR CENTER
The Gatesville Multi Service Center will be closed on Friday, Nov. 11.
MUSEUM
The Coryell Museum and Historical Center will remain open on Veterans Day.
The Gatesville Messengerwill be operating at normal hours on Friday, Nov. 11.
