Gym dedication, Bishop

A special dedication ceremony will take place on the Gatesville Junior High campus on Monday, May 16, at 5 p.m. The junior high main gym will become known as the GJHS Mary Bishop Gymnasium in honor of the long-time Gatesville ISD educator, coach, and Hornet fan. Bishop was a fixture at GISD for more than three decades. She was known to inspire students and encouraged them to believe that they could do anything they wanted.

The public is welcome to attend the dedication ceremony.
