The National Honor Society of Evant Independent School District recently had a workday on Monday, May 1. The workday was a community service project that was held at Coryell Health RehabLiving Center located at 110 Chicktown Road in Gatesville.
The National Honor Society chapter of Evant ISD has memberships open to students who meet the required standards in four areas of evaluation including service, leadership, and character. A variety of students are selected for membership each year by a majority vote of a five-member principal-appointed faculty council, which bestows this honor upon qualified students on behalf of the faculty of Evant ISD.
