Chamber names March’s Business of the Month

The Gatesville Chamber of Commerce recently selected Scott’s Funeral Home as its March Business of the Month.

Scott’s Funeral Home is owned by Daren Moore and is located at 2425 E. Main Street in Gatesville. Daren considers it an honor to provide assistance and guidance to those who have lost a loved one. Scott’s Funeral Home is a locally owned and operated business that was established in 1907.

Members of the Gatesville Chamber of Commerce presented Moore with a trophy and certificate in honor of being chosen Business of the Month. This award is sponsored by Extraco Banks and The Gatesville Messenger. Each month, the Gatesville Chamber recognizes an outstanding business, and those winners will also be in the running for Business of the Year, which is awarded each year at the annual chamber banquet. Nominees must be a member of the chamber.
