The Bell County Master Gardeners Association recently announced their events schedule for the month of April. For those interested in gardening, the events held during the month are:
April 20
The Bell County Master Gardeners Association will host “Drip Irrigation” presented by Certified Master Gardener Dave Slaughter, Thursday, April 20, at 6 p.m. at the BCMGA Learning Center, 1605 N. Main St., in Belton. The seminar is free but limited to the first 50 people to sign up. Donations will be accepted to support continuing education opportunities in Bell County.

April 22
The Bell County Master Gardeners Association will conduct a hands-on workshop “Herb Compound Butter and Cream Cheese Spreads” presented by Certified Master Gardeners Jeanne Richard and Charlotte Nunnery on Saturday, April 22, 10 a.m. to noon in the Texas Agrilife Extension Office, 1605 N. Main St., Belton. Class Limit 20. The fee for the workshop is $16. Register at bcmgaspeakers@gmail.com online no later than April 15 or until the class is full.
April 27
The Bell County Master Gardeners Association will host “Groundwater in Texas” presented by Dirk Aaron, General Manager, Clearwater Underground Water Conservation District, at 6 p.m. on April 27 at the BCMGA Learning Center, 1605 N. Main St., in Belton. The seminar is free but limited to the first 50 people to sign up. Donations will be accepted to support continuing education opportunities in Bell County.
