Central Texas College Fair to be held Oct. 24

The Bell County Expo Center will host a Central Texas College Fair on Tuesday, Oct. 24. The fair will be held from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Representatives from various colleges, trade schools, and branches of the United States armed forces will be in attendance to answer questions about admissions, financial aid, scholarships, and more.

Students from Gatesville Independent School District will have a chance to visit with students from all over Central Texas. Schools that will be present include Academy ISD, Bartlett ISD, Belton ISD, Central Texas Christian School, Copperas Cove ISD, Florence ISD, Holland ISD, Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Killeen ISD, Lampasas ISD, Moody ISD, Priority Charter Schools, Providence Preparatory School, Rogers ISD, Rosebud-Lott ISD, Salado ISD, Temple ISD, and Troy ISD.

Attending college fairs gives students a glimpse of life at a particular campus. As well as having a bigger picture of what campuses you would like to visit, instead of wasting time and money visiting colleges at random.

The Bell County Expo Center is located at 301 W. Loop in Belton.
