Say hello to our neighbor, Seth Phillips!

Seth has been the Parks and Recreation Director for the City of Gatesville since 2021.

“It’s rewarding to see the direct impact that my job has on the quality of life for the citizens of Gatesville,” Phillips said. He has lived in Gatesville for 36 years and expressed that his favorite part of our town is the ballpark. “I love seeing it come alive at night with all of the various sports leagues and tournaments,” he said.

Seth reads The Gatesville Messenger each week. “I enjoy reading the sports section of the Gatesville Messenger,” he said. “The Messenger does a great job of highlighting student-athlete achievements throughout each sports season.”
