The youth of Gatesville’s Presbyterian Church recently held a lemonade and treats fundraiser to benefit the Isaiah 117 House. Funds from the sale were scheduled to benefit the organization to help reduce the trauma for those who are entering the foster care system.
Isaiah 117 House provides a comforting home where foster children can be brought to wait. It is a place that is safe with friendly and loving volunteers who provide clean clothes, smiles, toys, and snuggly blankets.
The youth of Gatesville’s Presbyterian Church wanted to provide funds for the organization to help the children while they wait for child welfare staff to do the necessary paperwork and identify good foster placement.
