Mark your calendars for April 21-22 for the Pearl Community Center Flea Market. Also, the Pearl Cottage Bookstore and Resale Shop will have a big indoor/outdoor sale!
Items we will have will include a quilt rack with quilt tops, quilts, two dining room tables, coffee tables, end tables, a motorized cart, a washer and dryer, a dresser with lots of boxes of Amish Christian books, and a lot of exceptional glassware and jewelry. Of course, the usual bookstore items and more than 6,000 books will be available at those times as well. Pearl Church of Christ has announced its annual Vacation Bible School dates — May 29 through June 2, 9 a.m. until noon. Please share this information with all your friends and family. Everyone is welcome!
Now, I cannot confirm the reliability of this information, but it was reported to me that Kay and Pearl (her faithful watchdog and walking companion) were seen frolicking in Raby Park lately. What’s more, it was reported that Kay was wearing the itsy bitsy, teeny weeny, turquoise greeny, stringy bikini, AND Pearl was doing her level best to run from her master! As I said, I cannot guarantee the reliability of this information, so please don’t talk about this any more than you have to. However, if you happen to witness such a spectacle, please feel free to email me (address below) so that I can confirm this suspicious activity. Strange how that ridiculous regalia finds its way back into its frame in the Pearl Cottage Bookstore each evening ….. (If you don’t hear from me next week, it’s because the above-mentioned subject has “kilt” me!)
