Mark your calendars for April 21 - 22 for the Pearl Community Center Flea Market. Also, the Pearl Cottage Bookstore and Resale Shop will have a big indoor/outdoor sale! Items we will have include a quilt rack with quilt tops, quilts, two dining room tables, coffee tables, end tables, a motorized cart, a washer and dryer, a dresser with lots of boxes of Amish Christian books, and a lot of exceptional glassware and jewelry. Just two weeks after the Flea Market, the next Pearl Cottage Bookstore Day happens on May 6. That’s twice in two weeks that you can go to the book cottage to stock up on summer reading material!! And you can visit with the cheerful bookstore ladies who not only love to see you, but they also cherish your visits!! Remember, you never know what you might find at the Pearl Book Cottage! All proceeds go to support the bookstore’s local charities!!
Pearl Church of Christ has announced their annual Vacation Bible School Dates… May 29 through June 2, 9 a.m. until noon. Please share this information with all your friends and family. Everyone is welcome!
I’m sure you all know that May 1 through May 5 is Teacher Appreciation Week. I just wanted to give you a heads up in case you want to start thinking about what you can do for the special teacher(s) in your lives! As a retired teacher, I can tell you that most all of us greatly appreciate chocolate! Lots of us also thrive on coffee and most of us would never turn down gift cards to practically anywhere! Trust me, the lives of teachers can get very hectic, and the greatest majority of them LOVE our kids!! Let’s love them back!!
